Nick Middleton (1/2 of The Funk Hunters) founded Westwood Recordings 6 years ago as a home to release his own music and provide a platform for his best friends. We are really proud to say that all these years later that’s still very much exactly what it is today - just that circle of friends that has grown so much bigger than we could have ever imagined.
It’s announcements like this that make us step back and feel really proud of what we’ve accomplished along the way. Huge thanks to the Fractal Forest boss man, R-e-R, for believing in us and letting us help curate the Friday night this year at our favorite festival on the planet... Shambhala Music Festival.
Westwood Recordings is the first record label to have a stage takeover at the Fractal Forest, that is amazing to think about. Nick has been attending Shambhala and dancing in the Fractal Forest since he was a teenager, so this one is extra special for us. We hope to see you all there!
