About

Westwood

Westwood is an independent music company and record label celebrated for its hands-on, artist-centered approach. Over the last decade we’ve made it our mission to foster talent on a global stage across an eclectic range of genres. This is a company created by artists for artists.

Founded in 2013 by Nick Middleton of Canadian electronic act The Funk Hunters, Westwood’s footprint in the industry extends far beyond that of a traditional label. Representing international acts transcending conventional genres, Westwood has brought its in-demand presence to stage takeovers at iconic festivals including Shambhala, Rifflandia, and Montercat’s Compound, alongside launching creative industry partnerships with brands like Splice and Twitch. As the label's reach continues to expand to new platforms, Westwood music can be heard on Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Peloton, and Riot Games.

Fueled by a community of like-minded music lovers and an unwavering commitment to quality, Westwood’s focus remains the same ten years in: elevate great music.

From small beginnings to global impact.

Westwood turns 10.

Today Westwood's growing team is located across North America with satellite offices in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and New York.
