Massive congratulations go out to So Sus, whose EP Voices (released on Westwood X in 2019), has been nominated for a JUNO. Holding his own alongside Canadian heavyweights KAYTRANADA, REZZ, Feliz Kartal and Frank Walker, So Sus’ achingly raw EP has been shortlisted in the Dance Recording of the Year category.
Since releasing his debut in 2016, So Sus has been recognized by key voices in the scene such as Run The Trap, EARMILK, and FUXWITHIT, and this latest nomination offers further proof of his prevailing influence on dance music.
For those who know So Sus and his music, this nomination will come as no surprise. He has established a reputation for his innovative juxtaposition of emotive vocals set against an imposing backdrop of heavy dance beats. Voices encapsulates his sound and affirms his position as a major player in the industry.
Okay so we may be biased, but the Westwood team is absolutely rooting for So Sus. This is truly recognition well deserved and we can’t wait to see what’s next for him.
